I’ve been feeling crummy the past week. Partly due to my neck, shoulder, and back pain caused by the accident. Thank goodness I start physical therapy Monday afternoon. Next would be due to working a job that went nowhere, is nowhere and will go nowhere. Yes, I agree, it is time. It is almost a year later. In regards to my career (which I was not pro active nor productive with) I can honestly say I have watched myself watch the time go by. What a waste. And lastly, this tender ache from within. My heartache, why even kid myself, my heartbreak. It’s interesting to hear some of my friends say and even he said, “how? you don’t even know him(me). We hardly know ourselves. Now the how has become the why. Why do I have to defend my feelings and to thus explain myself. Have they not gone through love. Have they not secretly longed to fall into love at first sight. I offer this, my soul took to him instantly.
So when I say I’ve been feeling crummy,
I Physically Emotionally Heartly hurt.
Although, I’ve been noticing the universe has been putting blessings in my path. When it rains it does pour. Huh.
Well then girls night in. Nooo Ashli and I went to Laurel Hardware. We treated our SELVES to dinner. While we were eating dessert; the patron behind me asked how we liked the tres leches desert? I told Bryan it wasn’t too sweet which was good yet it was lacking something, missing flavor. Ashli, said, yes it was bland. He then said, ok, we’ll skip it. I said, those are my thoughts. To then we got started in a conversation ( to which collided into the conversation of love). He then introduced me to his two friends , whom are partners. And the 3 of them are are out on the town. I then introduced Ashli. Cocktails and conversation
I then happened to turn to the other side of me and sitting there in the table next to Ashli’s and I is a man. Oh. Where did that other couple go. I turn back to Bryan (who has been facing him) and said, oh he’s cute. To which Bryan said yes. I sneak a peak. I tell Bryan, he happens to be dining alone. Bryan says, you should introduce yourself. I will.
Bryan and his friends depart.
Back around facing Ashli. The man asks how we liked the dessert? Hmmm, an Irish accent? I gave him a similar answer I gave Bryan. Ashli then asks him what he ordered. He asks us where we are from? And how we know each other. Later Ashli excuses herself. I ask him where he’s from? Dublin. We then start talking about our travels.
Ashli sits back down.
He then asks what I do. I tell him. I then asked what he does. He says, I own this. I say, you own what? This. I look around.
Confused, I ask, Laurel Hardware? Yes.
Ahhh, I still stand by what I said about tres leches. He smiles, it’s okay, we are introducing two new desserts on the menu. We talk some more. He’s nice.
Ashli and I move to the back lounge.
Later when we are leaving I see the Irishman.
I walk up to him.
I leave him some parting words.
