SCARY!
I was really, REALLY frightened as I placed my helmet over my head, climbed into the smelly red race car jumpsuit, and slid into the seat of my Go-Kart last weekend.
Ahhhhh!!
I dislike driving a car, let alone speeding around a track in a tiny micro-machine with no, and I repeat NO seatbelt. WHAT?!?!
In fact I abhor driving so much, that I don’t even have an up to date Driver’s License. When I filled in my form and noted the expiration date on my license, I turned to my husband and said, “Oh no, it looks like I probably won’t be able to race. So sad.”
To my dismay, no one caught the Expired Driver’s License and I was ushered to the track. All I could do was think of the Year of Outrageous Living and that I didn’t want to let my ladies and readers down.
SO I DID IT! Wheeee!
And guess what? I LOVED IT! I felt like I was playing Super Mario Cart, except it was REAL. I would have been Yoshi, by the way. No, not the Princess, YOSHI.
So Dear Readers, my Outrageous Act this week was pretending to be Danika Patrick and Yoshi in One.
